Adventuring Again!

Hey there folks, Condor here again with some exciting news! It's much warmer than the awful cold weather we have been having so I got to go adventuring again. Today's new adventure was the neighborhood park. We started with a walk around the block and foster mom said I was being so good walking on the leash right beside her and waiting for her to look for cars before we crossed the street that she would take me to see the park. She said it's really for little people but on this nice sun-shiny day there were no little people there so I got to explore and try it out for myself! Check out these pictures from my park adventure!!
Here I go across the bridge!

I'm the king of the playground!!
Who's afraid of stairs? Not this guy!!
That was fun, let's explore some more!!
Do you have a park or playground where you live? I really enjoy meeting people so if you like to go for walks to the park or just around the neighborhood I would love to join you!! Walking with foster mom is fun but I would really love to have my very own person to walk with. Maybe you could be my forever family, just fill out that application and say you want to meet me, Condor of course! I hope to see you soon!!!

You know, I heard there is an adoption day coming up real soon and now that the word is out about how smart I am you better act fast with that application because this lover boy is aiming to find a life long Valentine!

Baby it's cold outside!

Here I am with my foster sister during our spa day.

Hey there handsome!
Hi everyone, Condor here hoping everyone is staying warm! It sure has been cold lately so I haven't been out to do much exploring. I keep hearing the people talk about "snow"... my foster siblings say it's greyt fun and I hope I get to find out for myself soon. Right now the cold is not much fun, I run outside and do my business and run right back in to warm up. Foster mom says a nice way to pass the time is by hosting a spa day, so we invited some greyhound friends over and we all got our nails done. Not a very manly pastime but it seemed to make the people happy and I got lots of peanut butter so it really wasn't too bad. Besides, with Valentine's Day coming I gotta keep up these good looks to impress the ladies!

Since I'm staying inside where it's warm I'm trying to keep my mind busy by learning lots of things so I can be ready for my forever family. Foster mom says that while it is sweet of me to rest my head in her lap for pettins while she watches TV it is not polite to sniff her food when she is eating. To keep everyone happy I am learning how to lay on a bed and wait patiently while the family eats.
I'm waiting.................
Foster mom says I have lots of potential, she said that means if you want to teach me tricks I would learn them real quick so you could show off to all your friends how smart I am! I'm starting to catch on to the sitting thing that lots of greyhounds don't like to do so she's really proud of me already. I won't stay sitting very long but I will do it long enough to get a cookie! I love cookies and I try to remember all the ways to get them like sitting when someone says sit or going to my bed or kennel when I'm told.  Do you know more ways to get cookies? Would you teach them to me? I really want to learn! I can't wait to find my forever home and learn lots more ways to get cookies!

Hello everyone, Condor here to catch you up on my adventures in foster life! I moved to another foster home but I don't let the changes stress me. No sir, I am one go with the flow kind of guy. My new foster mom has lots of nicknames for me.... dreamy eyes, love bug, McLovin, Mr. January.... she says I am a most eligible bachelor but I'm not sure what that means... I really don't care though because she is usually rubbing my ears when she calls me those things so she can call me whatever she wants. Here in the new foster home I have three foster siblings, two are greyhounds like me and one is a little bitty guy!

Here I am chilling with the little guy!
We call him Doolittle and that's what he does- very little! I get along fine with him so if you have a little dog don't worry about me, I won't mind at all! Here Doolittle and I were waiting patiently for the family to finish eating so they could love on us.

Hey, that looks like us! Does my tail look bigger on TV?
My new foster siblings are pretty quiet like me but one day the human kid here got her phone to sing the song of our people and we all had to join in, it was greyt fun! What was even crazier was foster dad recorded us and then made dogs that looked just like us sing back from the big TV,  I was mesmerized!!
What else can I tell you about? Oh, foster mom says I have to show you this picture. Foster dad says I have "wolf eyes" foster mom says they are just gorgeous and she could stare at them all day, I'm not one to brag but since she insists here you go...
Look into my eyes....you want to pet me...you want to hug me...you want to fill out that application and bring me home!
There's the beagle again, photo-bombing me a little but I didn't even notice he was there in the moment. I really don't pay much attention to any of the other dogs around here.... I'm a ladies man, uhh, I mean people person, uhh... I LOVE PEOPLE!!!!! I don't want to sound like a creepy stalker here but I will follow you anywhere, I firmly believe that your lap was created to be the perfect place to rest my head, I really want your attention.... please love me! I can wait patiently by your feet while you eat or beside your bed while you sleep, or even in the bathroom while you....shower. But as soon as you're done I will be right there waiting for you to love me! I mean waiting to love you!
Okay, just one more picture foster mom insists I share. She was ignoring me for the skin kid, something about homework or whatever, I don't know but I gave her the look.... she told me to stop pouting, I didn't budge and what do you know it works every time--- as soon as she took this picture I got the ear rubs I wanted!  Really I'm not demanding, I am a gentleman, but even a gentleman has dreams and mine is to have my very own family or even just my very own person. I don't care if you have other dogs already I will get along with them whether they are big like me or even little like the beagle here. I don't mind too much if you have to leave me while you go to work. I will be right there waiting and super happy to see you when you get home. I can even wait all day without a potty break. I will be a devoted and affectionate loving companion. If you're looking for some love I have a heart full to give so won't you fill out that application and come meet me?? <3 Condor

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!!  I am looking forward to finding my very own family this year!  I know that my forever family is out there and I can't wait to meet you!  My foster family has been really great.  They are teaching me all sorts of manners.  I still try to get into the trash can, but a dog can dream right?  My foster family has kids and I love them.  Sometimes they give me treats and I get lots of pettings from them.  I love getting pettings and rubs.  I will stand there all day and let you pet me.  Foster mom says I'm going to make some family really happy.  Maybe that family is yours?

I've got this relaxing thing down.

It's nice to meet you!

Wow!  I've had an eventful week.  First I move in with my foster family.  It's my foster mom and dad and they have three kids and two greyhounds just like me!   So I'm getting use to the house and retirement.  Then I am overcome with all this wonderful smelling food for something called Thanksgiving.  I didn't even get to eat it!!  Foster mom says that I'm such a sweet boy.  I think I'm liking this retirement thing.  I get to lounge around all day and I get lots of pettings.  I get to play with all the toys and squeak them until my heart's content.    I can't wait to find my forever family!!
